Last Z is a pay-to-win game, for sure. However, with the right habits, a sense of direction, and a healthy dose of patience, it can be quite generous - even for free-to-play players.

Compounding is the name of the game. Hoard your items and use them at the right time for the best rewards. Let's navigate through three events that repeat in cycles of hours, days, and weeks.

Full Preparedness

Full Preparedness [FP] starts as soon as your HQ reaches level 6. It is the first event in the Event Center and it rotates five different themes:

  1. Mod Vehicle Boost
  2. Shelter Upgrade
  3. Age of Science
  4. Hero Progression
  5. Holistic Growth

Each theme lasts 4 hours and with each theme you can earn 6 medals. A total of 18 medals are required to claim the last reward chest. Collecting more than 18 medals does not yield additional rewards.

Alliance Duel

The first Monday of your gameplay introduces a new event called Greatest Governor. This event precedes the Alliance Duels [AD] with the biggest difference being that the former is about individual points, and the latter about collective points of your alliance.

The same themes apply to this event, and they last for 24 hours. FP and AD overlap every day at 12:00 and 20:00 Apocalypse-Time [AT].

  • Tuesday: Shelter Upgrade
  • Wednesday: Age of Science
  • Thursday: Hero Progression
  • Friday: Holistic Growth
  • Saturday: Enemy Buster

There are no AD objectives on Sunday. The winning alliance is rewarded for each day they outdo the other alliance. The losing alliance gets no rewards. At the end of the week, the alliance with the most points, gets the week rewards

State Ruler

This is what it's all about. The more successful a state can work together, the better the chances are of winning the State Ruler event.

State Ruler [SR] starts when the capital is occupied for the first time. Alliance Duels become an interstate event carry weight in the State Ruler event. Not only do individual results matter, collective alliance and state result matter as well.

  • MVP in AD
  • First place in the Arena
  • Looting enemy state Intercity Trucks
  • First place in FP
  • Winning AD daily
  • State damage on Fury Lord
  • Highest individual damage on Fury Lord

The state that has the most points on Friday wins the right to invade the enemy state. This results in SVS: State VS State wars. Winning these wars comes with great rewards, but even participating comes with great individual rewards!

If you let these events guide your actions, you will get the best rewards, daily and weekly. The more you participate, the more your state benefits.
