The Tyrant is a high-intensity, alliance-based boss battle that can be scheduled every 2-ish days. 

 

The Tyrant is the best event for getting precious Power Cores, among some other rewards. Power Cores are used to upgrade orange equipment.

Timing

The event lasts 15 minutes. The Tyrant can only be summoned by R4/R5 after which the timer until the event starts. 

  • You cannot attack the Tyrant solo. All damage must be dealt via rallies! 

Prepare

To maximize your damage and rewards, do this before the timer starts:

 

Recall All Troops

  • Ensure no troops are out gathering resources or mining. You can only “fast travel” to join rallies from your HQ! 

 

Location Matters

  • Make sure you're in the hive before the Tyrant starts. Players further than 80km cannot join rallies, and those further than 30km shouldn't start them due to long march times.

 

War Frenzy

  • About 30 seconds before the event starts, send an attack toward a random HQ and immediately recall it. This triggers the War Frenzy buff that lasts 10 minutes. Remember to repeat this halfway through the event.

 

Strategy

 

Fill Bottom Rallies First

  • Always join the rallies at the bottom of the list first. These are the oldest and will launch sooner, ensuring you get more hits within the 15-minute window.

 

Joining Rallies

  • The red skull icon on the bottom left of your screen shows existing rallies. Use all your formations to join these rallies and only create a new rally if there are no rallies available. 

 

No Distractions

  • While the Tyrant is active, alliance members should stop ALL other activities to keep troops available. Boomers, Radar Events, etc.  

 

March Speed

  • Since the event is timed, minimize march time by being as close to the Tyrant as possible. Long marches waste precious seconds that could be spent in another rally. DO NOT MAKE RALLIES FROM FAR AWAY (~30KM)! 

 

Rewards

There are two types of rewards:

 

Personal Rewards

  • Based on your individual damage ranking. Sent by mail! 

 

Alliance Rewards

Based on the total damage the alliance deals. Need to be claimed via Event Center > Tyrant.
